He and his team were perfect gentlemen and so respectful. He is young and I'm sure he didn't do anything out of disrespect. I feel that wholeheartedly.

There is nothing in the rules saying you have to be present for the national anthem. However a coach wants to get a team ready, it's up to him. If Patrick felt he needed a few more minutes with the team, that's his prerogative.
